The boiler at Queens Mill in Burnley. The mill is powered by a steam engine, built over 100 years ago and is still powering the mill today. The mill is believed to be the only steam powered weaving mill working in the world. At one time the Lancashire cotton industry, clothed the world. In its hey day,the boiler was consuming 6 tons of coal a day | |
