Coloured frontal X-ray of the pelvic region of a 75-year-old male patient with a sacral nerve stimulator (SNS,white,lower centre and lower left) implanted in the groin following removal of the prostate gland for treatment of prostate cancer. SNS delivers an electrical impulse to stimulate the sacral nerve as a treatment for those with bladder control problems (incontinence).
