| The Walney Offshore Wind farm project is located 15km off Barrow in Furness in Cumbria,UK. The project consists of Walney 1 and Walney 2 each with 51 turbines. It has 102 3.6 MW turbines,giving a total capacity of the Walney project of 367.2 MW,enough to power 320,000 homes. The rotor diameter of the turbines is 107m for Walney 1 and 120 m for Walney 2.
