Physicists Enrico Fermi (1901-1954,left),Werner Heisenberg (1901-1976,centre) and Wolfgang Pauli (1900-1958,right),who were all awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics,in 1938,1932 and 1945 respectively. Fermi created the reactor in which the first self-sustaining nuclear reaction took place. Heisenberg devised the Uncertainty Principle (the position and momentum of a particle can never be known at the same time). Pauli's Exclusion Principle explains atomic properties.
