London Eye,on the south bank of the River Thames,Lambeth,London,UK. The London Eye is an observation wheel that rotates to raise its passenger capsules 135 metres above the ground,giving spectacular views over London. It was designed by architects David Marks and Julia Barfield,and was opened in 2000. The river flows south to north here,and this view looks west across St James's Park and Green Park.
