Sea turtles conservation. Group of Kemp's ridley sea turtle (Lepidochelys kempii) nests on a beach. When adult females lay their eggs,a conservation group moves them to this protected enclosure. When the eggs hatch,the baby turtles are released into the Gulf of Mexico. Kemp's ridley sea turtles are the smallest and rarest of the sea turtles,with adults reaching about 2 feet long.
