This research is being carried out at the LEPA (Service d'Extraction de Principes Actifs) division of the Natural Product Chemistry Institute (ICSN,Institut de Chimie des Substances Naturelles). This is a CNRS research institute in Gif sur Yvette,near Paris,France. It carries out research into discovering and identifying new natural products from plants,marine organisms and micro-organisms,as well as synthesising those with pharmacological uses and investigating biological mechanisms of action.
