They are much more massive than a planet,yet are not massive enough for their internal pressures and temperatures to fuse hydrogen into helium,the hallmark of a true star. Astronomers have discovered that this object is much redder than typical brown dwarfs,due to the presence of sizeable grains of minerals (enstatite and corundum) in its clouds.
