Carrollite mineral. This cobalt-copper-nickel sulfide (formula: Cu.(Co,Ni)2.S4) has traces of iron,and has an isometric (cubic) crystal symmetry. This small crystal (1.4 centimetres across) has a silvery metallic lustre. It is found in hydrothermal vein deposits (here,in dolomitic rock,white).
