Magdalenian culture. Reconstruction of a man from the prehistoric Magdalenian culture handling an artefact. The Magdalenian people,a culture of early modern humans,lived in western Europe from 15,000 to 7000 years ago,during the Upper Paleolithic period. As well as evidence of fur clothing,excavations have found a wide range of carved bone,antler and ivory artefacts.
