MODEL RELEASED. Tuberculosis (TB) side-effect drug. This is pyridoxine,a form of vitamin B6 used to control the side-effect of the antibiotic drug isoniazid (INH) used to treat TB. TB is an infection by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It usually infects the lungs and can cause severe scarring. Infections can be diagnosed and treated at dedicated clinics. If a TB infection is not completely eradicated, then drug-resistant forms can develop. It is usually treated by a course of antibiotic drugs, often several taken in combination.
