Ferdinand Dutert (1845-1906),French architect. Dutert studied at the French National School of Fine Arts in Paris. He also received a Prix de Rome scholarship in 1869. He was one of the architects for the Gallery of Machines,one of the main exhibition buildings at the Universal Exposition (World Fair) of 1889 in Paris. For the Universal Exposition of 1900,also in Paris,he designed the Gallery of Palaeontology and Comparative Anatomy (built 1892 to 1898) at the French National Museum of Natural History.
