Wild garlic (Allium ursinum) flowers in woodland in spring. Wild garlic has been found to have many herbal and medicinal benefits and is used to make herbal medicines. A member of the lily family,it is also known as ramsons or bear paw garlic. It gets its name from the claim that bears eat it to regain their strength after hibernation.
