| Lithium grease. This product contains lithium-based chemicals such as lithium stearates and lithium hydroxystearates. It is the lithium-based equivalent of soap,where lithium (Li) is present instead of sodium (Na). It is used as a grease in the form of the lithium soap mixed with oil,forming the gel seen here. The differences with other greases is that it is non-corrosive when used on metal parts,and can be used at high temperatures (up to 220 degrees Celsius) | |
