This building,the Palais Brongniart,also known as the Palais de la Bourse,was designed by and posthumously named for the architect Alexandre-Theodore Brongniart (1739-1813). Built in the neo-classical Greek style,the colonnaded building was completed in 1825 with a limestone facade and sixty-four 10-metre-high limestone exterior columns.
