Mutant sheep. 18th-century journal page illustrating a mutant sheep with a horn growing from its throat. This sheep was displayed at the Royal Society in London in November 1754,and the stuffed skin and the attached horn was later placed in the Society's museum. This account of this mutation was presented by the English physician James Parsons (1705-1770),elected a Fellow of the Society in 1741.
