Parrotfish collected by Darwin. Museum specimen in a preservation jar of a parrotfish (Pseudoscarus lepidus) from Tahiti. This specimen was collected by the British naturalist Charles Darwin during his voyage on HMS Beagle (1831-1836). The Beagle arrived in Tahiti on 15 November 1835.
