Ensisheim meteorite fragment. Piece of the Ensisheim meteorite that fell on 7th November 1492. This was the earliest recorded European meteorite. It fell near Ensisheim,a town in Alsace which is now in France and was thought to have weighed almost 130 kilograms,of which a 55 kg mass remains.
