Western rockhopper penguin (Eudyptes chrysocome) emerging from the sea. The rockhopper penguin,the smallest of the crested penguins,lives on sub-Antarctic islands. It walks with a bouncing gait,and can leap up to 2 metres from rock to rock. It uses its stubby wings to propel it through the water while hunting fish and krill.
