Dayton Clarence Miller (1866-1941),US astronomer. Miller obtained his doctorate from Princeton University,and then spent his entire career teaching at what was then the Case School of Applied Science,in Cleveland,Ohio. He is remembered most for his work on the aether drift,a test of Einstein's theory of relativity. Miller was a member of the National Research Council (based in Washington DC) between 1927 and 1930.
