Control centre for International Space Station (ISS) Columbus module. This control centre is part of the German Aerospace Agency (DLR),and is located in Oberpfaffenhofen,Bavaria,Germany. The ISS,which has been under construction since 1998,is a joint project between the space agencies of the USA,Europe,Russia,Japan and Canada. The Columbus module,the contribution of the European Space Agency (ESA) was attached to the ISS on 11 February 2008 (birthday cake at centre).
