Coral goby hiding inside hard coral. Coral gobies (Gobiodon sp.) live their entire lives hidden amongst the branches of a hard coral colony. In return for the shelter provided by their host, they are thought to keep the coral clean from debris and parasites and even defend their home from predators such as crown of thorn starfish.
