Biblis Patera volcanic crater. Mars Express satellite image of Biblis Patera,a caldera (collapsed crater) formed from multiple violent eruptions from its parent volcano Biblis Tholus. Biblis Tholus is about 170 kilometers long,100 kilometers wide,and reaches a height of around 3 kilometers. This caldera has a diameter of 53 kilometres and extends to a maximum depth of roughly 4.5 kilometres.
