Sandstone hoodoos and cliffs. Hoodoos (in foreground) are composed of sedimentary rock with a slightly harder stone on top, which results in an unusual capped shape when eroded over time. This hoodoo is composed of sandstone rock and has been shaped by sandstorms and occasional heavy rains, gradually forming a spire. Photographed in Bryce Canyon,Utah,USA | |
