Aerial view from drone hovering directly above 100-meter-wide lava flow coursing through residential neighbourhood on the island of Hawaii. Flows like this were responsible for the destruction of more than 700 homes during the 2018 eruption. This fast moving flow displays fluid dynamics similar to those found in rivers with the current running faster in the middle and slower at the banks.
