The Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) is part of Launch Complex 39 at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, USA. The VAB is where NASA's largest launch systems are assembled. These include the Saturn V (Apollo program), the Space Shuttle, and the future Space Launch System (SLS). The VAB is one of the largest buildings in the world. It is 160 metres high and was built from 1962 to 1965. In the foreground is part of the Crawlerway, a 40-metre wide track leading from the VAB to the two launch pads.
