Young woman showing a jellyfish sting on her arm, and describing its stinging. Jellyfish have tentacles bearing stinging cells called nematocysts, which fire tiny venom-laden harpoons into the skin. They use these to catch fish and other marine animals. The vary widely in their effect on humans, from no effect at all to a quick death. Filmed on a dive boat in Thailand.
