Manta ray (Manta birostris) swimming over a group of scuba divers as they take photographs. Despite their size, manta rays are not considered dangerous to humans, and they are a popular viewing subject for recreational divers and tourists. Although largely pelagic, they come to coral reefs to be cleaned at cleaning stations. This manta has an attendant remora (Echeneis naucrates) attached to it towards its tail. Filmed in Palau. | |
