| Mediastinal hematoma in an 88 year old male following transoesophageal echo. Four days prior to the procedure, a chest X-ray reveals marked cardiomegaly and a dual chamber pacemaker. Following the procedure, there is 1.5 cm widening of the mediastinum, most evident adjacent to the aortic knob. Axial contrast enhanced CT scan confirms mediastinal haemorrhage. | |
