A zinc metal strip was immersed into a beaker containing a 0.2M copper (II) sulfate solution. Since zinc is more reactive than copper,a single-displacement reaction occurred: Zn + CuSO4 -> Cu + ZnSO4. In this image,the strip has been removed after 10.5 hours in the beaker.
