Dennis Tito,first space tourist,on the International Space Station (ISS). Tito (left),an American multimillionaire,paid $20 million (almost £14 million) to join as a spaceflight participant on board the Soyuz TM-32. The purpose of the Russian launch of Soyuz TM-32 on 28 April 2001 was to carry new crew and supplies to the International Space Station. The whole trip lasted 7 days,22 hours and 4 minutes and orbited Earth 128 times.
