Seqenenre Tao II mummy. Close-up of the mummified head of the Egyptian Pharaoh Seqenenre Tao II (1301-1235 BC),showing the severe head wounds (upper centre) that caused his death. Seqenenre Tao II ruled over the last of the local kingdoms of the Theban region of Egypt in the 17th dynasty.
