Wallace letter during Malay trip. This letter,from the British naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace (1823-1913) to his mother,is dated 28 May 1854. Subjects covered in the letter include the sending of beetles to his agent Mr Stevens,future travel plans,and his daily routine as a collector. Wallace had departed England on 1 March 1854 to travel to the Malay Archipelago.
