Martian crater. Mars Express satellite image of an hourglass-shaped impact crater in the Promethei Terra area of Mars. The crater is unusual because it appears that a glacier of ice-rich material had flowed from the small 9 kilometre wide crater (right) into the larger 16 kilometre wide crater below (centre).
