Hurricane Michael making landfall, seen from the International Space Station on 10th October 2018. Michael made landfall near Panama City, Florida, USA. It was the most intense storm to hit the USA since Camille in 1969. Its maximum windspeed of 250 kilometres per hour was the highest at landfall since Andrew in 1992. Michael left more than a million people without power in the USA and led to 39 fatalities there, and 54 in total. This clip was taken from an altitude of 410 kilometres. | |
