Fly-through coloured 3D computed tomography (CT) scan travelling from the hypopharynx (above the larynx in the throat) to the trachea (windpipe), passing through the vocal cords in the larynx. The vallecula and epiglottis (about halfway through the clip) can be seen guarding the entrance to the vocal apparatus. This imaging technique is known as a virtual bronchoscopy. | |
