The roar can under certain weather conditions be heard up to eight kilometres (five miles) away, and it is the loudest call of any large cat. Filmed in the 40 degree heat in the late afternoon, at the Nossob riverbed of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in Southern Africa. | |
