Surgeons viewing the feed from an endoscope during transanal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS) to remove a polyp (small growth). TAMIS is a procedure where an endoscopic surgery port is placed into the anal canal. Instruments are passed through the port and into the rectum to remove the polyp. The wound is then sutured closed. This polyp was found to be a precancerous tubulovillous adenoma. | |
