The Leopard Keelback or Neotropical Watersnake (Helicops leopardinus) is an aquatic snake that eats small fishes and frogs. It ranges across the Amazon Basin and females give birth to 6 to 11 young annually. It is a species of rear fanged snake that does produce a venom.
