Intravascular large B-cell lymphoma, light micrograph. This is an example of intravascular large B-cell lymphoma. It is a rare subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in which the tumor cells selectively grow within the blood vessel lumina. The commonly involved sites are the central nervous system, skin, kidney, lungs, adrenals, and liver, but it may be seen in other organs. This image shows medium to large-sized atypical lymphoid cells plugging the lumen of an intermediate-sized vessel within brain. | |
