Hydra are small simple predatory fresh-water animals. They catch small swimming crustaceans such as water fleas using stinging and adhesive cells on their tentacles. Water fleas are small crustaceans, commonly found in fresh water. Rotifers are microscopic aquatic animals that are related to roundworms. Dark field illumination.
