Hurricane Harvey relief camp. Exterior of the Rockport Relief Camp, Texas, USA. This tent camp was set up for people whose homes were destroyed by Hurricane Harvey. Families made homeless by the storm were still living in tents in this camp 10 weeks after the storm hit south Texas. Hurricane Harvey was the first major storm to make landfall in the US since Wilma in 2005. It caused catastrophic rainfall-triggered flooding in the Houston metropolitan area and is tied with Hurricane Katrina as being the costliest tropical cyclone in US history. | |
