Todites is an extinct member of the Osmundaceae family of royal ferns. The subspecies here exposed is characterized by large bipinnate fronds bearing closely set branches on a thick main axis with slightly curved leaflets, often covered with sporangia. It occurs in upper Triassic, lower Jurassic floras in many parts of the world. | |
