Construction of Queensferry Crossing bridge. This road bridge, spanning the Firth of Forth estuary in Scotland, is being built to replace the Forth Road Bridge. The new bridge is the longest three-tower, cable-stayed bridge in the world. It will be 2.7 kilometres long. Construction started in 2011, and is due to be completed by around July or August 2017.
