Elizabeth C. Crosby (1888-1983) American neuroanatomist. Crosby graduated in mathematics in 1910, and went on to study biology and anatomy. She became the first woman to receive full professorship at the University of Michigan Medical School, in 1936. She became Professor Emeritus of Anatomy at Alabama in 1963. Her work made outstanding contributions to the field of comparative and human neuroanatomy. | |
