Timber logging. Workers and a team of horses in the USA in the 1890s handling logs that have been prepared for use as fish trap piles. The logs, ready for transport on a railroad trailer, are over 36 metres long. They have had their ends sharpened ready to be driven into the ground to form the support structure for the fish traps. The logs are from trees that have been felled in the surrounding area in the Cascade Mountains near Seattle, Washington, USA. | |
