Blackfin barracuda (Sphyraena qenie) with an open mouth, showing its sharp teeth. This fish is a fast and voracious predator, reaching a length of over 1 metre. It feeds on fish and squid, and is found in tropical and subtropical coastal waters in the Indo-Pacific region, migrating in pursuit of schooling fish. This barracuda has its mouth open because it is waiting at a cleaning station for a smaller fish or shrimp to clean its mouth of parasites and food debris.
