Artist & illstrator Andrzej Dudzinski. Born in 1945 at Sopot in Poland,Dudzinski studied at the Academy of Fine Art in Warsaw. He visited London in 1970,& contributed illustrations & cartoons to the "underground" press. Back in Poland,he became famous for his satirical creation,a "watchbird" called Dudi,which appeared in the Polish satirical magazine Szpilki. He emigrated to York in 1977. He has contributed drawings to leading publications such as Time,Vogue,New Yo Times,Boston Globe,Vanity Fair,& Playbo has had several exhibitions of his work in America & in London |
