Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is the material of inheritance of most organisms. Its double-helix structure consists of two strands of nucleotides. A nucleotide consists of 3 subunits: a sugar,a phosphate group & one of four different bases: adenine (A),thymine (T),guanine (G) & cytosine (C).
