Sexual attraction between male sheep. Male sheep (rams) responding to chemicals in the urine of other male sheep. Urine is one of the factors involved in attraction between sheep. This is part of research being conducted by US reproductive biologist Brenda Alexander at the University of Wyoming,USA,into sexual orientation and reproduction in sheep. Alexander's research includes studies of how urine signals trigger copulation in homosexual rams (male sheep). Typical behaviours include tasting urine,licking and vocalizations.
